Anna Ghanouni

Firm Administrator

Anna Ghanouni is the Firm Administrator at Ghanouni Teen & Young Adult Defense Firm. This means she works on the operations side of the office to make sure that everything is running smoothly for our clients.

When Paul decided that he wanted to follow his passion and change the focus of the firm to helping teens and young adults who have been accused of crimes, Anna decided that she wanted to be a bigger part of this mission. She officially joined the firm in January 2015, after having helped out after hours and on weekends.

Anna’s background and education include a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting. She has worked at three different law firms, an accounting firm, and as a forensic accountant. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for our mission to our team.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul Ghanouni, their two dogs and cat. Anna and Paul welcomed their daughter Aurora in January of 2016. Aurora has brought much happiness into their lives, and she is growing very quickly. Anna loves traveling, and so far, her favorite place to visit is Iceland. She also enjoys dabbling in photography and anything crafty.

If you look at pictures of me in high school, I probably didn’t fit the bill of a troublemaker or someone that did stupid things. That’s the funny thing about being young and feeling invincible. You don’t have to look a certain way. You can’t look at a person and know that they will get in trouble with the law. Young people just do stupid things.

When you are younger you don’t think about the long-term consequences of your actions. You think about the fun you are having, and how the world is at your disposal and because of that we see so many young people with such potential being affected long term by stupid mistakes.

I wanted to be a part of this firm to help the young people in our community, to make sure that if they are accused of a crime they do everything they can to make sure it doesn’t have an impact on them for the rest of their lives.”
